Gordon, I can&#8217;t begin to thank you enough for the beautiful Celebration of Mum&#8217;s life you put together. Even to the point of waking at 5am the day before to advise me that you&#8217;d had a &#8216;thought&#8217; come to you and created a beautiful ditty which you even then went on and sang. Mum would absolutely have loved that.

Thank you Gordon for presiding in the wonderful send off that we were able to give mum. 
Everything you did was so fitting and you encapsulated her life and energy. It’s a memory that will last with us and a wonderful way to farewell a wonderful woman.

Thanks once again to you Pete for your efforts in assisting and putting together a memorable eulogy for my Father&#8217;s service. It was the perfect balance of professionalism and clever wit. You displayed patience, understanding and a genuine need to want to get to know my father&#8217;s background and life story. 
The day will be forever cherished.

Peter was fantastic deal with. Through such a difficult time planning a funeral for a loved, it makes it even more important to have understanding, reliable, professional people around you, that listen and communicate well, take the time to understand and get to know your loved one that you&#8217;ve lost. The heartfelt presentation that Peter put together for us for my mother&#8217;s funeral was absolutely beautiful.

At a time of sadness &amp; loss Freddie Holmes is the inspirational friend lifting the load to share your burden.
 He becomes your motivator to see you through, to help &amp; share, to be your confidant when you don’t know what to do, when you are confused, bewildered, even angry he is your rock to anchor your ship of distress until the storm of grief slowly recedes.
 A person of immense compassion he then helps you to hoist the sails of hope and encourage you to continue your journey knowing that this is what your loved one would expect &amp; want for you, as we are never alone.

I know Freddie personally, and consider him a person of integrity &amp; compassion.
He’s not quick to judge, and has a kind of humility that can only come from life experience.

It gives me great honour to provide this attestation regarding Mr Freddie Holmes whom I have had the privilege of knowing and experiencing first hand his many positive attributes that I write about. 
Many words come to mind when I think of Freddie. He is compassionate, kind, authentic, and a generous type of person with integrity and empathy who never hesitates to help others, friend or stranger.
That is the essence of Freddie and he exhibits these values in his dealing with all people on a professional and personal level and is deeply supportive of people and never hesitates to roll up his sleeve to help. 
He is what I call, “one of the many unsung heroes” in this world. Serious at times when it calls for it, but deep inside, a very caring and genuine person to the core. 
I highly recommend Freddie to anyone looking for a quality, professional and caring person to handle this most difficult of life&#8217;s events, the passing of a loved one in the most appropriate and dignified demeanor. Freddie goes beyond; in ensuring that the family is supported and comforted. 
If I can summarise Freddie to one sentence: he is a people first person.

I have known Freddie Holmes for the past 8 years, and the circumstances under which we meet, made me realize that this person was somehow different to most people that attend a large gathering.
What stood out for me was that Freddie really cared about how he assisted me rather than just give me directions to where I wanted to go, and what manifested over the years was his pattern of endearing himself to people by listening to them very carefully and then displaying a pattern of taking charge but NOT in an intimidating way. His concern for people’s interests and well-being were always Paramount and NON- Negotiable.
Over the years I witnessed the same level of patience and tolerance, which never changed, together with a marked degree of kindness, understanding and undivided support.
This is definitely a man with the innate qualities of a Funeral Celebrant. Words cannot be more expressive.

I have known Freddie Holmes since the late 1990s and believe that he is ideally suited to the role of funeral  celebrant.    
Freddie is a warm, caring and empathetic person who has the knack of putting people at ease.
